There was a wedding at Christcurch last Saturday between Sophie Kinchington and Ben Corrigan. Sophie’s mum was a member of Christchurch when Sophie was a young girl in the playgroup (which is still running). They will be making their future life together in Australia. A barbeque was held on Saturday at which nearly £400 was raised for the Mustard Seed Project in Zimbabwe. This project is supporting children in the village of Chivu who have been orphaned as a result of the AIDS epidemic. There is more information about the project on the Mustard Seed Project page.
The Wild Honey project ran a plant and book sale at Christchurch last Saturday, with refreshments, scones and cream, cakes and ploughman’s lunches.
