During Lent members of the church collected their small change for the Water Aid “Jars of Change” appeal. The organisers were hoping to raise £250, to pay for a locally manufactured rope pump in Ethiopia. When all the jars were counted the amazing sum of £580 had been raised! Enough for two pumps and a few buckets!! Thanks to everyone for filling jars, emptying those drawers and pockets, giving your coppers and 5p’s, they all mounted up to a fantastic total!
