For some time now one of our members, Sue, has been selling cakes after the morning service on the second Sunday of the month, to raise money for various charities, often for the Mustard Seed Project and for Action for Children. Over the last few months the morning’s takings have exceeded £60! Well done Sue, and thanks to everyone who buys the cakes (very timely if there is a café church in the evening!) There’s a summer break in August and in October, to make a change, Trevor’s delicious home made preserves will be on sale to boost funds for the Nigeria healthcare Project, something that the Wesley Guild has been supporting for a number of years.
