Sikh quilt displayed in Christchurch

An open evening was held recently at Christchurch, in conjunction with the St. Philip’s Centre, to display a recently produced quilt by the Sikh community in Nottingham illustrating the journeys of Guru Nanak. See the BBC East Midlands news item here.

About 70 people attended – mainly from the Sikh community and we received lot of very positive comments and much goodwill.Many people commented on the sanctuary as being a very holy place – full of spiritual energy.
