Christchurch is located in the Clarendon Park area of Leicester.  It is an ecumenical church with its roots in the Baptist and Methodist traditions.

We aim to be inclusive, non-judgmental and supportive of everyone who finds a home with us and warm and welcoming to anyone who comes to visit. Our worship and activities are diverse and varied. Services take on a wide variety of forms, from the hymn-sandwich to café-style and there are many weekday activities, including discussion groups, weekday prayer meeting, art group, luncheon club, parent and toddlers… There is a wide range of ages and backgrounds in the church.

Join us for worship on Sunday mornings

Services are being on Sunday mornings. Although there are no longer any legal restrictions we ask worshippers to wear face coverings when moving around and to be considerate to others with regard to social distancing. Procedures are being kept under review.

We know that some people will be wary about coming to church for a while yet and we will stream our morning services whenever possible. Information about streaming and our Covid-safe arrangements are on the Sunday Services page.
