Many of us are enjoying a walk as our daily exercise. So, to give your perambulation purpose one of our members has organised this challenge.
Christchurch is located in the Clarendon Park area of Leicester. It is an ecumenical church with its roots in the Baptist and Methodist traditions.
We aim to be inclusive, non-judgmental and supportive of everyone who finds a home with us and warm and welcoming to anyone who comes to visit. Our worship and activities are diverse and varied. Services take on a wide variety of forms, from the hymn-sandwich to café-style and there are many weekday activities, including discussion groups, weekday prayer meeting, art group, luncheon club, parent and toddlers… There is a wide range of ages and backgrounds in the church.
Church services are permitted, and we know how many people are longing worship together once more, but with current high levels of infection it has been decided that Christchurch will remain closed until the situation improves. Following the government announcement about coming out of lockdown, we look forward to holding services again before too long.
We are aiming to stream one service a month, which will be announced on the Sunday Services page.
No services are being held at present. More on the Sunday services page.
