To celebrate the tenth Anniversary of Christchurch the Banner Group has designed and stitched a new banner to replace the one in the Atrium which was made when our two congregations came together in April 19th 1992.
The symbol is made up of the first two letters of the Greek CHRISTOS - CHI=X RHO=P.
The different coloured people represent the diversity of the members of the congregation.
The scallop shell shows that we are a pilgrim people – this was an ancient symbol of pilgrimage.
The curve of the name refers to the journey of life.
