Morning worship
Sunday morning worship in the worship centre follows a traditional Baptist or Methodist style. The services are taken by one of our own ministers or Methodist local preacher.
Normal service times are 10.00am in morning and 6.30pm in the evening. There may be changes to this schedule for special occasions. Refreshments are served after both morning and evening services (in the evenings there is sometimes pizza or trifle or something else tempting!) There is a Traidcraft stall after the morning services, selling fairly produced goods.

Space is a contemporary service held on alternate Sunday mornings (with some variations), concurrently with the service in the worship centre. It is a relaxed, informal service, with a band and opportunity for input and interaction. It is usually led by Rev. Paul Richards or members of the Space team. The dates are given in the sidebar to the right.
Worship the Lord in the Beauty of Holiness
Evening services incorporate a blend of various Christian arts: music, singing, drama, meditation, dance, film and preaching and are led, most weeks, by our lay minister John Fowler. For May through July the theme is Are Christians so heavenly minded they are no earthly use?, addressing various social issues. The topic is ‘unemployment’ on May 20th, and ‘marriage’ on May 27th.
Café Church is on the second Sunday evening of each month at 6.30 in Costa Coffee on Queen’s Road. This is a new venture, with the first one on 10th June, and the details are still being developed. What this space!
Whatever is happening on Sunday mornings children are always catered for. Junior Church offers an opportunity for children between 3 and 15 years to learn about the Christian faith through craft, story telling and Bible reading. All our Junior Church leaders are CRB checked. If you are visiting with children, they are welcome to join Junior church or to stay in the service with you.
