Got a new phone? Need help using it? Thinking about getting a tablet or phone, but not sure what they do?
We can help. Since summer 2015, Keep up! has helped people in Clarendon Park gain confidence with digital gadgets and practise the skills to use them.
Anyone can turn up. The sessions are run by friendly volunteers, some uni students. They are free. We’ll listen as you describe what you want to do, and then suggest how to do it. We’ll work with your own device, or we can show you on our range of tablets and laptops. We answer questions, and give you time to think. While we practise, we usually have the kettle on. And biscuits.
The sessions are held at Christchurch on Wednesday evenings from 6.30 to 8 pm. The new series runs from the 24th January to 21st March.
We also welcome new volunteers to provide the advice.
Keep Up! is run by the WildHoney project. More details about this are on their website at www.wildhoney.org.uk.
